November 18, 2015

Financials Reviewed: Ed Liebler
  • ·       2015 Budget presented at November meeting

o   Projections including outstanding expenses reflect ending 2015 with approximately $2400 in account
Architectural: Terry Dunham
  • ·       210 School Path Lane – Fence
  • ·       316 Meadowglade Ln – finished

Landscaping:
  • ·       Property aerated and reseeded
  • ·       Irrigation turned off early November
  • ·       Pruning of trees started, and will be finished before month end

Social:   
  • ·       Cookies & Santa scheduled for 12/19 @ 10:30am in pergola area

Old Business:
  • ·       ‘Did you know’ section to be added to the quarterly newsletter to help educate homeowners on commonly asked questions, and information

o Intend to share with new homeowners and existing
o   1st to be distributed with December newsletter
  • ·       Sidewalk / tree issue discussion continued
    •      Ornamental trees that grow slow, and do not get very tall were discussed
    •      Terry / Rob to do research on height / diameter recommendations for replacements
  • ·       Entrance lighting

o   Suggestion to consider pole light similar to light directly across the entrance (LED adjustable light being considered)
§  Present proposal at annual meeting if board agrees in January this is a good alternative
  • ·       Flood Plain Culvert – new neighbor who has construction experience consulted with to look at area and make suggestions about best place for culvert.  It’s been too wet of late. Will bring to board attention as soon as possible.
  • ·       Fences on flood plain properties

o   Discussion to be continued, with possible architectural guideline
  • ·       Speed bumps in alleys

o   Motion for 1 @ crossing of north / south alley behind schoolpath made by Terry Dunham.  Second by Rob Allen.
  • ·       Children Playing signing cannot be posted within neighborhood – dead issue.
  • ·       Speed Limit Sign
    •      Request City place speed limit sign - Rob Allen to request speed limit less than 30mph. 

New Business:
  • ·       2016 Budget presented with Sunrise budget proposed to remain the same – still outstanding

o   Ed Liebler to share following final negotiations
o   Adjustments to admin for bookkeeping based on hiring / paying John who previously resided in ML.
  • ·       Annual Board Meeting date: 3/10/16
  • ·       Request serial numbers of movie equipment from social chair, Ryan Wilson, for record keeping purposes.

  • ·       Water bill reduced due to leak being fixed in sprinkler system pipes in pergola area
  • ·       Expenses for tree trimming along Spring Cabin, and other areas reflected
  • ·       Possible options for replacing tree cut down on Spring Cabin include Maple – to be reviewed further at November meeting
  • ·       2016 Budget to be presented at November meeting

Architectural: Terry Dunham
                  6 requests reviewed / approvd since June
  • ·       210 School Path Lane – Fence
  • ·       112 Spring Cabin – garage door
  • ·       104 Spring Cabin – fencing and walk
  • ·       313 Meadowglade Ln – Front Porch replacement
  • ·       315 Meadowglade Ln – Screened in rear porch
  • ·       208 Schoolpath – fence

Landscaping:
  • ·       Sprinkler in pergola area repaired
  • ·       4 Azaleas replaced in pergola
  • ·       Pruning of bushes to occur before year end
  • ·       Irrigation to be turned of in November

Social:  
  • ·       Chili Cook off scheduled for 10/10
  • ·       Movie nights to be scheduled thru fall, weather permitting


New Business:
  • ·       Structural & Landscaping changes: Terry to present a proposal at November meeting that would be communicated to homeowners indicating such changes are to be submitted for review.
  • ·       Speed limit in neighborhood discussed: Rob to contact city of Franklin to determine if a specific speed limit can be posted within neighborhood.
  • ·       Speed bumps proposed just past halfway points of alleys perpendicular to Spring Cabin and Meadowglade Lane. - Terry to present plan and expense at November meeting
  • ·       Trees bordering sidewalks: some are causing issues with sidewalks.

·       Removal and replacement of trees will be at owner’s expense.
·       Homeowner will be required to replace with like tree.  
·       A list of similar / approved trees to be presented at November meeting. 
  • ·       Sidewalk maintenance is at owner’s expense – this information outlined in section 6 of bylaws, and will be included in the next Newsletter as a ‘Did you know’ reminder.
  • ·       Entrance lights – Ed and Terry continue to research and pursue possibilities.
  • ·       Flood plain culvert proposed between fields proposed to allow landscaping company to pass between fields without having to enter thru Moore Elementary property.  

·       Ed Liebler to present estimated costs at next meeting for review.
  • ·       Children playing sign proposed at either entrance of Meadowcrest Circle. Rob to research options and present possibilities /expense at November meeting.
  • ·       Proposed fence changes for houses along Meadowcrest circle backing up to flood plain discussed.  Terry to bring further points for discussion at November meeting.
